Jersey Hedgehogs offers two types of waiting lists.  Please review both types of lists before contacting us.

Reservation Waiting List

Reservations are for 100% serious buyers only. When you make a reservation you are guaranteed a baby from a specified litter.  We are essentially breeding for you. In order to be added to the reservation list, a deposit of $75 is required.  The fee is nonrefundable, but will be applied to the total price of the hedgehog.   For example if you purchase hedgehog that is $200 you will have a balance due of $150 upon pick-up.  In the event Jersey Hedgehogs cannot meet your color/sex preference, your reservation fee can be applied to the next upcoming litter.   The more lenient you are with regards to color and sex, the faster you will receive your baby.

While we will accept your inquiry for a reservation at anytime, we will not accept reservation deposits until the litter is 2 weeks old. If a reservation is the option you choose, please contact us via email (jerseyhedhogs@yahoo.com) and we will contact you by PHONE.  When we contact you, we will better explain the reservation process and answer any questions that you may have and even schedule a visit to our home to meet our small herd if you would like.

General Waiting List

If you are on the fence about buying a hedgehog from us, and would like to be notified when any babies are available this may be the list for you.  People on the waiting list will get offered any babies that have not been reserved.  Please keep in mind that our waiting list is extremely long since about 90% of our baby hedgehogs go to homes of customers who have made a reservation.  The remaining unreserved baby hedgehogs, usually about 10%, have been offered to those on our general waiting list. In the event you feel you have been on the waiting list for too long, we suggest you consider making a reservation.
